EBF Working Group 3 Archive

 In April 1995 the European Batch Forum formed a group known as WG3 to address the issue of S88 'problem areas, including to a degree continuous and even discrete plants . WG3 developed two imaginary plants - a milkshake production plant and a multi-product chemical plant and began to analyze them to produce a control requirements analysis consistent with S88 but which also handles the issues around the S88 “problem areas”, such as how to integrate a filling line and how to handle cleaning-in-place (CIP). This is the archive from that endeavour.

Since then ControlDraw Ltd has developed the two models which are now provided with the ControlDraw software samples. There is still work to do to complete the models and align them with the latest S88 thinking.
