S88 - An Equipment Module and Equipment Phase using Set States via an Equipment State Matrix 

This Flash movie shows an S88 phase, on the left ,setting the equipment module, on the right, to states via Set State steps. It gets the setting for the Control Modules in the  Equipment module via an Equipment State matrix. This is a very efficient way to define the settings for equipment that has many states
It shows  how ControlDraw can simulate the phase and the equipment module at the same time. You can see this running in the ControlDraw Dynamics sample model by >Window >Saved Views> Load Saved View> Run Chromatography.  You need version 3.4.1099 of ControlDraw and Version 641 of the model or greater.
 It would be good to have a PCS you could program as easily as you can build the models, but at least, the ControlDraw standard library provides help on how to  program control like this in PLC's and DCS's
